A video of the “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” singer, 38, performing on stage made its way to TikTok earlier this week, and trolls took to the comments with no shortage of things to say about how she looked. Several social media users pointed out that Lambert appeared “happy and healthy” while serenading the large crowd, donning a comfy graphic tee, casual cut-off denim shorts and red star-embellished cowboy boots. But while many penned supportive comments, some felt the need to voice opinions on the musician’s body, dropping unnecessary jokes and calling the star names like, “Miranda HAMbert,” “Miranda Lamburger” and “Mealranda Lambert.” There were even a series of rude remarks urging the Texas native to “mix in a salad” and “go to the gymnasium.” Regardless of the mean comments that surfaced on the internet, one thing is for certain—Lambert’s trolls learned that no Miranda slander will be tolerated by her ready-to-clapback fans. “I like how it’s only men commenting about her weight. She looks amazing,” someone observed, as another social media user added, “Half of the men in the comments would be lucky to find a woman like her.” Even people who aren’t particularly “fans” dropped notes on the unwarranted opinions. “Not a Miranda fan but these comments did not pass the vibe check,” one irritated TikToker commented on the clip, while another added, “Clicked on a few profiles and y’all really have no room to talk about her looks…” Others offered positive reinforcement, noticing how much they personally related to the singer. “I have the same body type. She makes me feel safe,” someone expressed, while another pointed out the natural fact that “bodies age” and “gain weight,” which is a normal “part of life.” “Weight and looks don’t define you. Your heart and how you treat people does,” another user wrote. As for how she feels about it all, the “Little Red Wagon” singer made it known that she is confident in exactly who she is, and she doesn’t require anyone’s validation. “I just don’t give two s**ts about people’s opinion of me, my marriage, my music or anything else,” Lambert told PEOPLE in June. “I just care that I’m being me.” All in all, we truly can’t get enough of all the body positivity and self-confidence!
