As any Popaholic can tell: It’s going to be a pretty interesting season! Here’s everything we know so far about Season 6 including the trailer, dermatological procedures, patients, and even a familiar face who comes back to the office.
Watch the Season 6 Dr. Pimple Popper trailer:
In the trailer, Dr. Lee meets with the man with the rhinophyma and says, “Oh, you can see it leaking a little.” He answers, “It’s the puss,” and wipes the area off, also informing Dr. Lee that the large growth causes him difficulty breathing. View this post on Instagram
A post shared by TLC (@tlc) Dr. Lee then declares it’s “the biggest rhinophyma that I’ve ever seen.” We then get a bit of a sneak-peek at this patient as he undergoes a surgical procedure and it appears he has a hard time breathing during the surgery. And with a growth that big on his nose, it’s not hard to imagine why. Squeezaholics will also remember Monica, a returning patient of Dr. Lee’s who made her first appearance in Season 5. Immediately in the trailer, Monica gets emotional. “Today’s my second chance and you don’t always get a second chance,” she says, adding, “It’s just, I was upset that I didn’t have a whole lot done.” Previously, Monica sought dermatological treatment for a birthmark on her face. In the Season 5 premiere episode, she said, “My birthmark starts above my eyebrows and along the left side of my face and neck.” To add insult to injury, Monica added that her birthmark kept her from securing her dream job, too. “I’ve been told that I look like a monster,” another patient with head-to-toe bumps called neurofibromatosis, says in the trailer. Yet another patient, who suffers from boils, estimates that she has at least 500 covering her body.
